RESOLUTION 98 - 40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA FOR PLAT APPROVAL
OF THE ROGERS 223 PLAT CONSISTING OF 3.279
ACRES; CASE NO 05-PT -98.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Commission, a public hearing was held to hear
testimony for and against the petition of McLaughlin Engineering Co. requesting approval of the
Rogers 223 plat located at the comer of the Sawgrass Expressway and NW 62 Terrace; and
WHEREAS, the proposed plat was reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board with a vote
of 5-0 for approval. The proposed plat is found to be in confonnance with all applicable subdivision
regulations and is in compliance with current concurrency as well as land development regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Parkland,
Florida, that;
1. The approval is based on the plat entitled "Rogers 223 Plat" prepared by
McLaughlin Engineering dated received by the Planning Department on July
10, 1998.
2. The property owners shall receive a jurisdictional determination or a permit
from the Department of Natural Resource and Protection relating to
wetlands prior to issuance of a site clearing permit.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF October
1998.
