In view of the complicated procedures that will be followed we need to develop something definite that can be pursued. .We, therefore, need to determine how many of our Board Members feel that we should start by doing whatever is necessary to begin negotiations with the Broward County Commission to enable the Charter to be changed whereby the League of Cities will have more of a voice in getting our proposals considered. We do not know at this time just how we will proceed to accomplish this, but we do know we will need the full and complete support of our member cities. If your city approves of this concept please indicate so and return the memo to us so that by our February 1, 1996 Board Meeting we will know how to proceed. ~1C:ZS ~hom4S A.
