HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-21 Stating Application B-2 Zoning District, Mecca Farms, are Extended for an Additional 5 Year PeriodRESOLUTION NO. 94 - 21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND STATING THAT APPLI- CATION OF BROWARD COUNTY B-2 ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS APPLIED PURSUANT TO THE MECCA FARMS ANNEXATION AGREEMENT AS CONTAINED IN CITY OF PARKLAND RESOLUTIONS NOS. 88-15, 88-22, 88-28, 89-1 AND 89-2, ARE EXTENDED FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIVE YEAR PERIOD FROM THE LAST DATE PERMITTED BY SAID ANNEXATION AGREEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolutions Nos. 88-15, 89-1 and 89-2, the City of Parkland and Mecca Farms, Inc. entered into several agreements which provided for the continuation of. Broward County B-2 zoning district regulations for certain parcels of property owned by Mecca Farms; and WHEREAS, the parties now wish to extend the application of the County B-2 zoning district regulations provided for in said agreement for an additional five years from the last date permitted by said annexation agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City does hereby state that the Broward County B-2 zoning district regulations applied pursuant to the Mecca Farms Annexation Agreements contained in the City of Parkland Resolutions Nos. 88-15, 88-22, 88-28, 89-1 and 89-2 (as recorded in Book 16871, Page 948 of the Public Records of Broward County), as amended, are hereby extended for an additional five years to February, 2001. Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Parkland is hereby author- ized to execute any appropriate documents necessary to effectuate the intent of this Resolution.
