A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF PARKLAND STATING THAT THE
LANDSCAPE BUFFER REQUIREMENT ALONG THE
WESTERN PROPERTY LINE FOR PARCEL E,
TERRAMAR TWO SHALL BE REDUCED TO FIFTEEN
(15) FEET FROM THE TWENTY (20) FEET
REQUIRED IN SECTION 9-31(c)(2) OF THE
PARKLAND CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the Parkwood Parcel situated in the Mecca Farms PUD
contains unique site characteristics which require that the strict
application Section 9-31(c)(2) of the Parkland City Code not be
applied to said property,;
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Parkland finds that a
waiver of the landscape buffer is considered desirable by the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The planting buffer requirement along the Shoppes of
Terramar concrete wall adjoining the Parkwood IX plat, shall be
reduced from the twenty feet required by Section 9-31(c)(2) to fifteen
feet.
