HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-43 Plat Approval Terramar Car WashRESOLUTION 93-43 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA FOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL OF THE TERRAMAR CAR WASH LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF US 441, SOUTH OF MECCA BOULEVARD; CASE NO. 06 -SP -93. WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Commission a Public Hearing was held to hear testimony for and against the petition of Mecca Farms, requesting approval of the Site Plan for the Terramar Car Wash; and WHEREAS, the proposed plat has been reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board which voted 7-0 for approval. The proposed Site Plan is found to be in conformance with all applicable regulations and is in compliance with the all concurrency as well as land development regulations; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Parkland, Florida, that; The Site Plan for the Terramar Car Wash is approved with the following conditions: 1. This approval is based on the Site Plan entitled "Terramar Car Wash" dated received on October 22, 1993. 2. This approval is also based on the Impact Analysis Report prepared by H. P. Tompkins relating to the Terramar Car Wash. 3. The signage for the proposed car wash facing US 441 shall be of a back -lit letter and there shall be no lighting fixtures directed to the sign. 4. The dumpster enclosure shall be made of concrete walls on three sides, stucco, and painted to match the car wash building. The fourth side of the enclosure shall be of a chain link fence with weave. 5. The canopy areas and all other roof areas shall be of a consistent and like material to provide consistency of the elevations. RESOLUTION 93-43 PAGE 2 6. The petitioner shall be allowed no additional identifications to the project except the ground sign. 7. The petitioner shall remove southern landscaping area. 8. There shall be no mechanical equipment located on the site which is not screened from off -premise by walls or landscaping. 11. Lighting for the site shall conform to the City Code.
