1993-32 Utility Easement, 8/C Tall Pines93-495984 T#002 10-29-93 02:50PM RESOLUTION 93-32 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND VACATING A PORTION OF THE 12 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 8. BLOCK C, TALL PINES, TOGETHER WITH A PORTION OF THE 12 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 1, BLOCK D, TALL PINES. ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 152, PAGE 30 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY: CASE No. 02 -AB -93. WHEREAS, the authority to vacate utility easements or other rights-of-way is vested in the City Commission of the City of Parkland pursuant to Chapter 166 of Florida Statutes entitled the Municipal Home Rule Powers Act and pursuant to said power, the City Commission desires to vacate certain utility easements located within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Parkland finds that the subject 12 foot utility easements hereto attached as Exhibit "A", are no longer needed or required for public purposes; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has reviewed Case No. 02 -AB -93 and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: The approval of Case No. 02 -AB -93 with the following condition. 1. The attached 12 -foot wide utility easement is hereby accepted by the City of Parkland.
