HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-37 Site Plan Approval Landscaping & Signage Parcel D-1, D-2 Terramar (Meca) RESOLUTION 92-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA FOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL FOR LANDSCAPING AND SIGNAGE PLANS FOR PARCEL 0-1 AND D-2 OF TERRAMAR, CONSISTING OF 126 UNITS; CASE NO. 02-SP-92. WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City commission a Public Hearing was held to hear testimony and receive exhibits for and against the petition of Mecca Farms requesting site Plan approval for landscaping and signage plans for Parcel 0-1 and 0-2 of the Terramar Planned Unit Development for development of 126 single family units. WHEREAS, the proposed landscaping and signage plans have been reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board which voted 5-2 for approval with conditions; HOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Parkland, Florida, that; The landscaping and signage plans for Parcel 0-1 and 0-2 of Terramar are approved with the following conditions: 1. This approval is based on the site plan entitled Preliminary Landscaping Plans for Parkwood Homes for Terramar Parcels 0-1 and 0-2, Parkland, Florida prepared by Neal, Smith and Associates containing 5 pages, dated received by the Planning Department on September 29, 1992 and also alternate north buffer plans dated November 4, 1992. 2. The Petitioner shall execute an Agreement acceptable to the City Attorney with respect to maintenance and landscaping on the east side of the wall. All required fences shall be maintained by the Homeowners Association and appropriate restrictive covenants dealing with the aesthetics of such fences shall be required. 4.
