IMPROVEMENTS FOR 66TH LANE

WHEREAS, on October 2, 1991, the City Commission of the City of ..::-
Parkland, by Resolution No. 91- 36 authorized improvements to be paid
for by special assessments for the construction of 66th Lane: and

WHEREAS, the City of Parkland properly complied with all the
requirements of the law to institute a special assessment for all of
said property, which special assessment roll is on file with the City
Clerk: and
WHEREAS, the cost of said improvements, includinq administrative
expenses and enqineerinq plans, amounted to $10,500.00: and
WHEREAS, the city Commission of the City of Parkland wishes to
accept said improvements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and
made a part of this Resolution.
Section 2. That the City commission accepts the improvements
made for 66th Lane and confirmed the total assessment costs in the
amount of $10,500.00 to be assessed aqainst the property owners as set
forth in the Assessment Rolls on file with the City Clerk.
Section 3. The Finance Department is authorized to take the
necessary measures to collect the special assessments as provided for
in all prior resolutions and on the special assessment rolls.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5TH DAY OF AUGUST

such assessment shall stand confirmed and remain legal, valid and
binding first liens, upon the property against which such
assessments are made, until paid.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to promptly
record said special assessments in a special book to be known as
the "IMPROVEMENT LIEN BOOK". The assessments levied shall not be
in excess of that stated in Section 2, and shall be reduced to
the extent actual costs are less than the estimate.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in force and shall take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. The City Clerk
is hereby authorized to record a copy of this Resolution in the
Public Records in Broward County, Florida.
