1992-20 Variance for Meadow Run Subdivision RESOLUTION 92-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA FOR A VARIANCE FROM SECTION 15-38 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE MEADOW RUN SUBDIVISION; CASE NO 02-V-92. WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City commission a Public Hearing was held to hear testimony and receive exhibits for and against the petition of Florida National Properties requesting a sign variance from section 15-38(6) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Parkland for the Meadow Run Subdivision located at the northwestern corner of University Drive and Holmberg Road. WHEREAS, a proper Notice of Public Hearing was sent to property owners of record within 500 feet of the subject property; WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval with a 5-2 vote; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City commission of the City of Parkland, Florida, that; The variance request of Florida National Properties is approved with the following condition: 1. This approval is based on the attached Exhibit A, and shall be limited to a maximum uppercase letter height of 12" and lowercase letter height of 8".
